Sports apparel specialist CRAFT has signed a cooperation deal with the International Ski Federation (FIS) to become sponsor of the Nordic World Championships 2011 in Oslo. CRAFT will supply the organizing team with entire clothing sets. The championships will take place from 24th of February to 6th of March 2011. However, in February 2010 the lights will be switched on at the new ski jump at Holmenkollen for the trial WSC.
By sponsoring the World Championships in Oslo, CRAFT said it emphasizes its status as one of the leading brands in nordic winter sports and functional underwear. The brand is also sponsor of the Swedish Cross-Country national team and has been Presenting Sponsor of the FIS Tour de Ski since its introduction in winter 2006 and has recently signed for further three years.
