Over his eleven-year professional bicycle racing career, Tony Rominger became synonymous with consistent top-level performance. A two-time winner of the Vuelta Tour of Spain, a three-stage winner at the Tour de France in 1993, holder of the world hour record, and a winner of the Giro d'Italia, Rominger was the consummate professional rider.

Now this great racer has taken his knowledge and is applying it to the design and production of Craft of Sweden's expanding cycling apparel line.

“After years of training and racing in all kinds of weather conditions, I know not only what competitive cyclists need but also what the weekend participant wants. At Craft that means getting to use unique fabrics and materials in creative designs.”

During the 2005 racing season, Craft cycling apparel is being used the Phonak professional cycling team, a fact that makes Rominger happy. “Being able to stay involved with professional cycling is great for any former racer and for me creating great cycling apparel is the perfect job after a professional racing career.”
