Covation/United Wheels Inc., the parent of Huffy and Batch Bicycles based in Dayton, Ohio, appointed industry veteran Henning Schroeder as senior director of product – e-mobility.
Schroeder, pictured at right, most recently served as product director, fittings, at Waterworks. Past roles include product strategy consultant, Caloi; SVP of product development, Cycling Sports Group; and VP of product management, Cannondale.
At Covation/United Wheels, he is expected to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, design, marketing, operations, and sales and focus on “scaling the core e-bike and e-mobility business while guiding category expansion into adjacent consumer mobility platforms including e-scooters and e-mopeds.”

Covation/United Wheels also owns Niner Bikes and makes Disney bikes under license through its Huffy operation.
