Costa Sunglasses recently hired Margaret DeWeerth as its new apparel merchandising manager. The companys apparel line consists of t-shirts, performance shirts, hats and retainer cords. DeWeerth will be responsible for the apparel product development process from design through manufacturing.


Prior to joining Costa, DeWeerth worked for A3 Merchandise in Nashville, Tenn., serving as an apparel sourcing manager for ProRodeo Gear and several other clients. During her time at A3 Merchandise she managed overseas and domestic production of apparel, while monitoring the supply chain, manufacturing processes and global logistics. She also spent time as a merchandise business planner for Knight Apparel on several apparel lines including the National Basketball Association (NBA) Team and NBA Brand apparel. 


DeWeerth graduated from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles with an associate of arts degree in Merchandise Product Development.
