Confluence Watersports Company has appointed Miriam Beckman as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. Beckman replaces Mike Hawes who has left the company.

“Confluence has been through many changes in the last 12 months or so and it ’s very comforting to have someone with Miriam’s background and experience heading up our financial group,” said Kelley Woolsey, Senior VP Marketing & Sales, Confluence Watersports Company.

Beckman joins Confluence from the Cycle Group, Inc. in Mocksville, NC, where she was the CFO. Beckman has a strong background in manufacturing, having worked as the Finance Director for the Thermal Products Division of Lydall, Inc., of Manchester, CT. Lydall is a manufacturer of thermal components for the automotive and medical industries and specialty filtration media.

“Confluence has a very active and lively corporate culture which will be a lot of fun for me,” said Beckman. “I look forward to the challenge of implementing the controls that will result in improving the bottom line.”

Beckman her husband and three boys will continue to live in their home in Winston Salem. She looks forward to seeing her sons don spray skirts this spring.
