Prague-based Colt CZ Group promoted Jillair Kubish to president and CEO of the Colt Manufacturing Group. Kubish had been serving as interim CEO since August 2025 and was formerly EVP of Military and Law Enforcement.

Kubish brings over 20 years of experience in the firearms industry, including over a decade at Colt, where she has served in a variety of senior leadership roles. She has led key areas of the business, notably Military and Law Enforcement programs.

Prior to joining Colt, Kubish spent more than 10 years working with the U.S. Government as a recognized firearms manufacturing expert. Her government service provided extensive technical knowledge and firsthand experience navigating regulatory, operational, and mission-driven requirements.

In addition to her corporate and government experience, Kubish served as president of a consulting firm specializing in firearms industry strategy. In this role, she advised major global manufacturers on operational efficiency, growth initiatives, and market positioning.
