Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) announced a new partnership with ski-specific apparel brand Flylow. Flylow will be the official outerwear brand of the association as the companies team up to promote skiing at Colorado Ski Country’s 21 resorts.

Founded by Colorado natives, Flylow is known for manufacturing freeride apparel for the modern skier. The company was created with the goal of ushering in a new age of ski gear – gear that is constructed to handle Colorado’s many powder days and varying terrain.

“Colorado Ski Country resorts are known for their commitment to providing premiere skiing experiences, which make our state the top choice of places to ski,” CSCUSA’s president and CEO, Melanie Mills, said. “This partnership was founded because Flylow gear is made to meet the ever-changing demands of skiing and snowboarding, a concept that makes them a top choice in apparel. The company’s clothing is designed for skiers who value durability, comfort, performance, affordability and style.”

Plugging the new line of locally-made premium gear into promoting the diversity of Colorado Ski Country’s resorts will set Flylow’s reputation as the leading Colorado clothing manufacturer of freeride apparel and further strengthen Colorado’s place as the top destination for skiing and riding.

The partnership exemplifies Colorado skiing, with CSCUSA’s 21 member resorts offering world-class skiing and Flylow offering freeride apparel for today’s skier designed and manufactured locally in Colorado. The partnership is just in time for the 2012/13 ski season with resorts opening for the season and skiers starting to think about purchasing new gear.

Flylow joins Colorado Ski Country’s family of partners including Icelantic Boards, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Credit Union of Colorado, Denver International Airport, Hertz, Sports Authority, and The Denver Post.
