Many of Colorado's resorts recorded more than a foot of new snow in the last 48 hours, according to Colorado Ski Country USA, which said all 21 of its members ski areas and resorts reported fresh powder.

Resorts near the Continental Divide bore the brunt of the winter weather system. Arapahoe Basin led the way with 22 inches of new snow, while Copper measured 21 inches and Loveland, which is pictured to the right, received 17.5 inches. Ski Granby Ranch and Monarch welcomed 16 inches, Ski Cooper saw 15 inches, Eldora received 14 inches, and Winter Park measured a foot of fresh snow.

 Further south and west, Snowmass and Aspen Highlands each received 13 inches of powder and their neighbors Aspen Mountain and Buttermilk received 12 inches. Crested Butte also received a foot of new snow, and Sunlight received 11 inches.  

Elsewhere in Ski Country, Steamboat recorded eight inches of new snow, Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort and Telluride saw six inches, Wolf Creek measured five inches, Howelsen received four inches, and Powderhorn and Silverton each received two inches.

Snow totals will continue to add up throughout Monday, and more snow is in the forecast later this week.
