Club Ride Apparel (CRA), the Sun Valley-based creators of lifestyle and performance cycling apparel, is reforming its sales force structure from independent to factory reps in many areas of the country.

Club Ride hired four new ‘Regional Territory Managers’ that will be outfitted with CRA-branded sprinter vans to showcase the company’s current and upcoming collections.

The program launches June 1st and will be rolled out across 4 regions – Northeast, Southeast, Midwest and Pacific. The greater Rocky Mountain region will continue to be represented by the Ptarmigan Group (for bicycle specialty accounts), Green River Sales (for outdoor specialty accounts), Velo Persona Sales in Arizona & Southern NV, and Unique Cycle Sales in UT & WY.

The new model will allow for more dedicated and individual service, greater mobility and increased awareness in both core and active-lifestyle markets, the company said.

“From developing our core and active-lifestyle collections, expanding into new categories, and growing our sales force, it is important that we keep Club Ride’s authenticity present in everything we do. Rather than doing a handful of events in each territory, the new structure’s flexibility lets us cover 50 different grassroots events and activations all over the country to create an even stronger presence,” said Mike Herlinger, founder, Club Ride Apparel.

This strategy is about increasing the support structure for our retailers, turning up the volume on our local marketing efforts, and doing on-site retail merchandising development,” said Josh Fonner, director of sales, Club Ride.
