Cloudveil is getting ready for the fall season by inking two new strategic partnership deals and adding a new member to its sales force. The two new deals, one with Sojitz Corp. and the other with North Bay Distribution, are designed to improve infrastructure and communications.
Sojitz Corporation is a multi-billion dollar global trade management firm that assists companies in the management of the front end of the supply chain.

Brian Cousins, co-Founder and president of Cloudveil said, “Our relationships with both Sojitz and North Bay will help improve our front end supply chain management and inventory throughput…”

Cloudveil is relocating their distribution for the fall of 2004 through the deal with North Bay.

Michael McGregor, VP of Operations for Cloudveil, said that this new partnership “will accelerate our inventory turnaround, given the West Coast location, and allows us to extend our same-day-shipment hours to 3:30PM.”
In other news , Scott Sutton joins Kirk Haskell to represent the Cloudveil brand in the Rockies. Sutton formerly worked for Alpine Sales, Inc., where he represented Marmot, Garmont and K2. Prior to his rep career, Sutton worked as hardgoods buyer at Neptune Mountaineering in Boulder.
