City Sports opened its 15th retail store Oct. 17 at the Bethesda Row
Shopping Center in Bethesda, MY. The new City Sports store is located
at 7121 Arlington Road, Bethesda, MD.
“We opened our first store in the Metro D.C. market in December of
2003 and our second store one year later,” said Mike Kennedy, CEO of
City Sports. “Both have been well received. As we looked to expand
within the Metro D.C. market, Bethesda was an obvious choice. Its
strong business and residential communities, combined with its premier
shopping district, makes it the perfect fit for City Sports.”
Headquartered in Boston, City Sports was founded in 1983 and now
operates 15 retail stores in metropolitan locations in Boston,
Providence, New York, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Baltimore and
Atlanta as well as online. City Sports caters to the athletic adult who
lives, works or studies in the city.
