Venturepax, an interactive Web application that lets outdoor enthusiasts discover and share adventures through stories, photos and videos, has been launched nationwide. The company's core belief is that if everyone shares their adventures, millions will be inspired to get outside.

If you can experience it outside, you can share it on Venturepax. Everything from ice climbing to fly fishing to mountain biking and kite surfing, and locations from Chile to Switzerland to  Kauai, are being shared on the site. People are sharing stories, pictures, videos, activities, location, friend tags, brand tags and other helpful links.

“Adventure is meant to be shared, and technology can amplify these experiences,” founder and CEO Danny Stull said. “Adventure stories can truly inspire more people to get outside. Technology shouldn't block us from being outside; it should catapult more people into the outdoors.”

The startup also has sealed more than a dozen partnerships throughout the United States by creating challenges that encourage a business's respective customers to participate in outdoor activities for prizes and rewards.

Partners are primarily in the outdoor industry, including Altra Zero Drop Footwear, Austin Canoe and Kayak and Bomb Flow (whitewater kayaking media). Venturepax is also partnering with companies like LasikPlus laser vision correction, who are focused on improving the way their customers see the outdoors.

Users can begin logging outdoor ventures online now at www.venturepax.com, and from their iPhones later this summer.

Venturepax received a seed-stage investment from Cincinnati-based venture investor CincyTech in August 2011 after completing a four-month program at Cincinnati's nationally recognized consumer-focused startup accelerator The Brandery.
