Christy Sports, a 48-door, family-owned ski and snowboard retailer, is partnering with Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) to support its 5th and 6th Grade Passport Programs.

“Our industry leading kids Passport Programs are such a fantastic way for kids to learn their way around Colorado's renowned resorts, develop confidence and enjoy our state's spectacular outdoors,” said Melanie Mills, president and CEO, Colorado Ski Country USA, a non-profit trade group representing the state's 21 ski resorts. “Christy Sports is an ideal partner for the program and an ideal place to get your kids kitted out for the ski season ahead.”

The CSCUSA Passport Programs easily introduce kids to Colorado's signature sports by providing families access to 20 ski resorts. The 5th Grade Passport offers up to 60 days of free skiing and snowboarding at 20 Colorado resorts.

Additionally, for fifth graders who are new to both skiing and snowboarding, First Class offers the chance for them to participate in a free beginner lesson including a day of equipment rentals. For sixth graders, the $99 6th Grade Passport offers up to eighty days of skiing and snowboarding at the same 20 resorts.

“The Passport Program helps families explore the mountains together, and we are proud to support that,” said Dan Fox, director of front range operations for Christy Sports, which is based in Lakewood, CO. “Christy Sports jumped at the chance to help kids get out on the slopes because we love sharing our lifelong passion for skiing and snowboarding, and hope to instill that passion in generations to come.”
