Christy Sports, based in Lakewood, CO, said it gave away more than $50,000 in weekly prizes and hosted an on-mountain ski party at Copper Mountain as part of its 50th anniversary celebration. More than 5,000 people participated in the activities. More than 200 customers won weekly prizes including free skis, jackets and pants, custom insoles, sunglasses and snowboards.
“Even during this tough economy, we wanted to give back to our customers, “Christy Sports chief operating officer Keith Liefer said. “Our customers are the keystone of our success and we wanted to make sure we thanked them for their business and ongoing support. We were extremely pleased with the positive reaction we received from our customers as they celebrated our 50th anniversary with us.”
With more than 40 locations throughout Colorado and Utah, Christy Sports is one of the largest specialty ski and snowboard retailer specialists in the Rocky Mountain region.
