Cascade Designs, Inc. added Chris Lowe to the sales management team. Lowe will manage and support the sales efforts for Therm-a-Rest, MSR, SealLine and Platypus brand products in the eastern U.S. region. Lowe was the former national sales manager for Ex Officio.
An outdoor industry veteran, Lowe began his career as a specialty outdoor store employee in college, and has held positions across the sales channel including Sales Rep, Merchandiser, Outward Bound Instructor/Trainer and most recently national sales manager for Ex Officio.
“Chris is a great cultural fit for our company,” said Bill Conradt, director of sales. “He combines a great sense of humor with creativity and is dedicated to providing excellent service and support to his customers, which makes him really easy and motivating to work with.”

Lowe joins the existing sales team in the Seattle office including Fletcher Andrews, U.S. Sales Manager-Western Region; Erica South, Sales Manager-Canada; and Thomas Threlkeld, Sales Manager-Pac Rim and South America. Dale Karacostas-former Sales Manager for the eastern U.S.-has transitioned into his role as Division Director, Tents and Shelters at Cascade Designs. In his free time, Chris enjoys camping, hiking, backcountry skiing, cycling and climbing.
