Cherokee Inc. announced that Mark DiSiena has joined The Cherokee Group and will be appointed as its chief financial officer effective Dec. 17.

Prior to joining Cherokee, DiSiena was most recently a strategy and finance consultant. Previously, DiSiena served in various roles, including: CFO of 4Medica, a privately-held software company, and held key management roles at KineticTide, which he co-founded, and Lucent Technologies. He began his career as an auditor at the public accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand.

 

DiSiena holds a B.S. in Accounting from New York University Undergraduate School of Business, a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University School of Law, and an M.B.A. from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. DiSiena is an Attorney-at-Law, licensed in the state of New York and a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the state of California.
