Chêne Gear, which identifies as a premium outdoor equipment brand known for its technical outerwear and apparel, plans to open its newest retail store in the Buckhead district of Atlanta, Georgia. The new location is said to mark “a significant milestone” in the brand’s continued expansion and commitment to serving customers through immersive, experience-driven retail.
The 5,800 square-foot Buckhead store will open its doors in fall 2026. It is also expected to serve as a community hub for sportsmen and women, outdoor enthusiasts, and lifestyle customers across the Southeast region.
“Buckhead is a natural next step for Chêne,” said Doug Schmidt, head of retail, Chêne Gear. “Atlanta is home to a passionate outdoor community, and this location allows us to connect more directly with our customers, tell our brand story in person, and deliver the level of service and experience that reflects who we are.”
Customers are expected to have access to expert product guidance, exclusive in-store offerings, and future community events centered around conservation, craftsmanship, and outdoor culture.
“Our goal has always been to build more than a brand – we’re building a community,” added company CEO Dennis Zuck “This store gives us a place to bring people together, share knowledge, and celebrate the lifestyle that connects us.”
Memphis, Tennessee is home to the company’s corporate headquarters and store and a 16,000-square-foot facility in Stuttgart, Arkansas acts as a one-stop-shop and community hub in the “duck hunting capital of the world.”
