Sweden-based holding company Röko AB has acquired Italy’s CyTech S.r.l., the parent of Elastic Interface cycling pads (chamois).

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Elastic Interface also makes ergonomic accessories like palms for cycling gloves and insoles.

In a statement, Röko said CyTech has annual net sales of €27 million ($31 mm), around 190 employees, and will be consolidated in Röko’s B2C segment in August 2026. Röko said, “The acquisition is not expected to have a significant impact on Röko’s earnings in the current financial year.”

Röko said the acquisition of CyTech is Röko’s third platform acquisition in Italy. Since 2019, Röko has completed more than 40 acquisitions.
