Chaco recently partnered with Grand Canyon Youth (GCY) to donate to the organization through two initiatives. During the second two weeks in March, Chaco donated five dollars per pair sold on its website to GCY. Company representatives also attended the Grand Canyon River Guides training seminar in Marble Canyon, AZ, and sold its new PRO Series Flips, with all proceeds benefitting GCY.
“Chaco is a valuable partner to Grand Canyon Youth, and a perfect fit for us, given their origins on the water,” said Emma Wharton, Executive Director. “We are grateful that with their support, there will be more deserving kids on the rivers of the Southwest. Time on the river is time away from the distractions of society. We offer youth an opportunity to discover new things about themselves, connect with the special places they visit, and give back to their communities.”
