CenterStone
Technologies, Inc. announced that Version 2.1 of iVendix is now “live.”
The iVendix solution provides manufacturers of well-known consumer brands with
a business-to-business (B2B) on-line ordering solution for their retail
accounts and sales reps. Retail accounts and sales reps are able to view
automated catalogs, check product availability, place orders, and track and
monitor the status of those orders using iVendix because it is accessible 24/7
via the Web.

“Ordering via the Web is now easier than ever for specialty retailers and
sales reps with the release of Version 2.1 of iVendix,” said Tom Detmer,
CEO of CenterStone Technologies.  “Especially in these challenging
economic times, it is imperative that manufacturing companies align their cost
structures and improve the efficiency and execution of their business. The
specialty retailing community faces similar challenges, and vendors need to
look for new ways to foster the continued viability of this channel.
CenterStone helps its clients build and promote their brands in the B2B
world.  We provide tools that facilitate the dissemination of a consistent
brand message – quickly, easily and in a timely manner – to specialty retailers
and sales reps. Having a B2B e-commerce solution is now an absolute necessity.
We want to make it easier and more profitable for our customers to do business
with their specialty retail customers. Being ‘easier to do business with’
becomes an additional attribute of those brands that elect to use CenterStone’s
iVendix to transact business with their specialty retailers,” continued
Detmer.

“We listened to feedback from a wide variety of iVendix users: thousands
of specialty retailers, a large number of sales reps and customer service
professionals at the manufacturers,” commented Rich Guess, director of I.T
for CenterStone Technologies. “New icons are easier to see and use.
There’s now just one button to start an order, which streamlines the whole
process. Inventory reports are available to download to Microsoft Excel. And
order confirmations and shipping notices are easer to read and provide an
expanded amount of information.  We continually strive to improve the user
experience for our customers, and we are grateful for the feedback and support
that they provide us as we work to continually earn their business every day,”
added Guess.
