Dyaco International, the maker of fitness and wellness products, is set to launch a new line of specialty medical and rehabilitation fitness equipment under a brand licensing agreement with Philips, a leader in health technology.

Brooks Sees Record Year In 2018

Brooks Running Co. reported global revenue reached a record $644 million in 2018, a 26-percent year-over-year. The gain was driven by a 28-percent increase in global footwear sales. Apparel stabilized and grew 7 percent.

Sports Leaders Support Launch Of Reform Alliance

RunnerClick Survey Finds Women, Seniors Pacing Marathon Growth

RunnerClick, the online community dedicated to running, has come out with what it describes as the “largest recreational marathon research study,” spanning 39 countries. Among the findings was that the U.S. has the highest proportion of female runners, making it the most gender equal country (45 percent female), followed by Canada (40 percent female). Greece is the worse in terms of female participation with 90 percent male and 10 percent female.

Races of both 60 and 100 kilometers will be contested next month on the world class Black Canyon National Recreation Trail north of Phoenix, AZ.

Ironman Appoints Chief Merchandise Officer

Ironman, a Wanda Sports Holdings Company, announced the promotion of 25-year experienced retail executive Jennifer Mocerino to chief merchandise officer for Ironman. Mocerino has been responsible for the expansion of retail operations to 26 countries and over 150 events globally.
