Carrera has signed a two year contract to sponsor Team FSx. Eli Brown, Fischer Nordic Racing manager has brought Carrera on to help American Cross Country Ski racers compete at the top level in national and international competition. Carrera will be the official eyewear sponsor of the FSx program and athletes.
Carrera joins Fischer, Swix, and Yogi Tea as the fourth official sponsor of the Team FSx Cross Country Ski Team. “Carrera has always been strong in Alpine,” said David Currier, president of Carrera Sport USA, “We are now looking to grow in the cross country racing scene, and FSx seems like the perfect fit!”
Teamed with ThinkRacing, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to enrich the lives of amateur athletes by assisting their development, Team FSx and Carrera will be providing a valuable service to Americas next generation of champions by providing the funds, logistical support, and eye protection necessary for Team FSxs skiers to properly train and prepare for the 2006 Olympics and beyond.
