The National Snow Industries Association has launched phase 1 of its new web site to better serve members of Canada’s snow sports industry.

The first phase of the redesign streamlines the process of obtaining information on the industry, the association and the trade events hosted by the NSIA. The site provides a number of useful links for the Industry in sourcing information and affiliated groups.

New to the site is the added security provided by selecting login prior to entering a username and password. Once in the login area, a user may select to go to their main area through “login” or to “registration” to submit badge requirements for the upcoming Snow Show and Demo.

The latest NSIA news can be viewed as well as, a number of other informative news feeds within the “News” section.

In “Classified”, a free service offered to the Industry, there is a listing of positions, lines available and items for sale.

To assist the Canadian snow sports market in staying informed on trade and other key events, a calendar of events has been set-up, enabling one to view the month’s activities at a glance.

Visitors to nsia.ca can now view who the members’ are as brand logos have been incorporated, providing not only an overview of who the NSIA represents; but, added exposure for the membership.

The NSIA is the national, not-for-profit, member-owned trade association representing the ski, snowboard and winter outdoor industry in Canada for equipment, clothing, accessories and footwear. The NSIA produces the Snow Show, the largest Canadian industry trade event, providing the ideal opportunity to work the lines for the coming season. Revenue generated from the show is invested in the Industry to develop research and new participants in Snow Sports. In cooperation with affiliated organizations, we have introduced the 5th Grade Snow Pass, Iniski / Inisurf and Discover skiing and snowboarding.
