Michigan could be getting a second Cabela’s outdoor equipment store, in the Grand Rapids suburb of Wyoming. Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm said officials hope a 125,000-square-foot Cabela’s will anchor a new retail, office and housing development in a former apple orchard, creating an estimated 3,668 jobs.

Cabela’s said Wednesday in a statement that the brownfield credit will help move the project forward, but it hasnt yet decided whether to build a second store. Michigan’s first Cabela’s store opened in Dundee in August 2000 and is a top tourist attraction.
