The assets of conversion kit brand CAA USA have been acquired by Plastimold Products, which is owned by brothers Joe Parisi and Anthony Parisi. This strategic move reportedly brings CAA USA, Plastimold Products, and Meta Tactical together as one unified entity.

Plastimold Products has been manufacturing CAA products, alongside components for other major firearm industry businesses, for more than 25 years.

“Since 1999, Plastimold has provided premium injection molding and precision machining services,” the company said in a media release. “The company boasts AS9100 and ISO 13485 certifications, reflecting a deep commitment to the strict quality and consistency standards required for aerospace, defense, and medical manufacturing.”

In 2022, while manufacturing for CAA, the Plastimold team partnered with industry innovators to launch META Tactical. META quickly made waves by pushing the limits of engineering with the Apex – the world’s first 16-inch barrel bullpup conversion kit—and the MX-1, an all-in-one Glock chassis engineered for the heavy-duty demands of Military and Law Enforcement operations.

The company now believes that with Meta Tactical’s engineering expertise, CAA USA’s undisputed reputation as a household name, and Plastimold’s manufacturing muscle all operating under one roof is a plus for the shooting sports industry.

“R&D, machining, processing, putting the actual pieces together – it all happens right here at our facility in Delray Beach, Florida,” said Joe Parisi, co-owner, Plastimold Products. “This 100 percent stateside consolidation eliminates mystery factories and middlemen. By keeping every step of the process in-house, the company guarantees tighter tolerances and unparalleled quality control.”

The new leadership said the primary goal is clear: Keep CAA USA as the undisputed king of conversion kit technology. Leading this charge is the new MCK Evo (pictured at top), a smarter, adaptable platform that is said to be have been “shaped directly by years of feedback from customers, dealers, and shooters.”

“The MCK changed the industry. The MCK Evo is how we’re taking it to the next level,” said Anthony Parisi, co-owner, Plastimold Products. “And we’re just getting started. We’ve got new products, new ideas, and a few things in development.”
