Burton Snowboards has reorganized its Senior Management team, which includes several promotions within the company. Most prominent in the company’s restructure is Clark Gundlach’s promotion to the newly formed position of Executive Vice President and General Manager of Burton Snowboards. In his new role, Clark will oversee all aspects of product, sales and marketing globally. Clark was most recently the company’s Vice President of North American Sales and has been with Burton for 13 of his 20 years in the snowboarding industry. He will report directly to Burton’s President and CEO, Laurent Potdevin.

Burton will also promote two current Vice Presidents to new roles. Also reporting to Laurent will be Greg Dacyshyn, who takes the position of Senior Vice President and Creative Director of Product, overseeing product design and creative for Burton, R.E.D., anon., Analog and Gravis.

Bryan Johnston will be promoted in his current role, becoming Senior Vice President of Global Marketing, where he will continue to oversee all aspects of Burton Snowboards marketing including its in-house agency, Syndicate, global team management, brand marketing, retail marketing, as well as public relations, events and entertainment.

Burton also announces the departure of Edward Giard, Senior Vice President of Product Management. Giard’s position will be replaced by three current Burton executives. John Lacy has been promoted to Vice President of Outerwear, Bags, Gloves and Accessories. John has held various positions within Burton for over a decade, most recently as a Strategic Business Unit Director. Scott Barbieri has been promoted to Vice President of Hardgoods, which includes boards, boots, bindings, R.E.D. and anon. Scott, a Burton employee for over 12 years, has worked in various engineering positions within the company, including Engineer Manager and Strategic Business Unit Director for Boards. Bob Burbank has been promoted to Vice President of Engineering and Quality. Bob has been Burton’s Director of Engineering and Quality Services for over a year and has held senior management positions in engineering for the past 15 years. Burton will also create a new Vice President of Apparel position in the coming months as well as a Vice President of North American Sales.
