Buffalo Groupe, LLC, a collection of agencies and media properties focused on golf, promoted Glenn Gray to chief growth officer. Gray has led Buffalo Groupe’s business development strategy since the company’s founding in 2019. Previously, he served as its executive vice president.

“I am eager to continue driving Buffalo Groupe’s evolution and building on the momentum generated over the last few years,” said Gray. “There is something incredibly special about the passion and energy we create in connecting our partners to the most influential audiences in the world that deliver measurable business results time and time again.”

Gray joined Charlotte, NC-based Buffalo Groupe in 2010, leading strategic communications for key accounts at Buffalo Agency (Buffalo Groupe’s predecessor).

With the launch of Buffalo Groupe, Gray has had a key leadership role in evolving its expertise and partners into new verticals across broader sport real estate, hospitality and fitness and entertainment categories while continuing to expand into golf. Partnerships formed during his tenure include the U.S. Golf Association, Omni Hotels & Resorts, Youth on Course, Golf Pride, Joola and Folds of Honor. His focus also includes growing the company’s global presence in the Top 100 private clubs and luxury real estate communities, including Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, Country Club of Charleston, Colleton River Club, Colorado Golf Club, McLemore, Mountain Lake, Riviera Country Club, Southworth Clubs and Trout National, The Reserve.

“Glenn’s relentless drive and deep understanding of the golf and ‘escape’ industries have been foundational to Buffalo Groupe’s success,” said Emily Clark, president and chief marketing officer at the Buffalo Groupe. “This promotion to chief growth officer is a direct recognition of the significant impact he has made and will continue to provide him the ideal platform for our agency’s leading position.”

Gray has served on the boards of the Virginia State Golf Association, the Virginia Commonwealth University Center for Sports Leadership, and the University of Mary Washington College of Business. He is also a member of the Golf Writers Association of America, a Golfweek Course Rater and serves on multiple sports industry committees.

In June 2024, Buffalo Groupe merged with ClubWorks, a holding company for luxury and private club services founded by Tidewater and Palm Beach Capital. Other investors in Buffalo Groupe include, among others, MLB All-Star Mike Trout, Symphony Ventures and NBC Universal.
