Buffalo Groupe, LLC, a collection of agencies and media properties focused on golf, hired Dan Chelel as vice president and Andrea Cascia as senior director of business development.

Both Chelel and Cascia bring seasoned sales and marketing backgrounds that directly support the company’s strategic approach to future growth and industry presence.

“Buffalo has experienced tremendous growth which is a testament to the strong vision and our dedicated team members who bring it to life every day,” said Jeff Foster, chief revenue officer, Buffalo Groupe. “Expanding our business development team is a major part of our growth strategy and I’m confident under Glenn Gray’s leadership our team will be poised for great success.”

“We are excited to have Dan and Andrea join the Buffalo team as we prepare for 2022,” said Glenn Gray, senior vice president, business development, Buffalo Groupe. “They both bring unique experience and passion that will be instrumental in our continued expansion within golf, travel, outdoor, lifestyle, and other adjacent industries.”

Reporting to Gray, Chelel and Cascia focus on its collection of agencies—Buffalo Agency, Rawle Murdy, 54 Brands, and Longitudes Group; media properties—SI/Morning Read and The First Call; and its events division, Moments Live, which specializes in operating golf tours, tournaments, corporate offsites, golf societies, and curated luxury experiences.

Chelel joins Buffalo from KPMG where he served as a director in the Sports Industry Practice and led the launch of the newly formed group in 2020. In his role, he was responsible for growing market share with professional sports teams, leagues and facilities while maintaining oversight of communications, branding and cross-functional go-to-market strategic activities. Prior to forming that division, he helped lead the KPMG Sports Marketing & Sponsorships group. Before joining KPMG in 2013, he worked for the PGA Tour in community outreach.

Cascia joins Buffalo from Global Golf Post where she was National Sales Manager for the last eight years. Before that, she was the manager of Global Marketing Communications for Callaway Golf. Throughout her 19-year career at Callaway, she was the corporate sales and marketing liaison to five subsidiaries and 15 worldwide distributor offices.
