The Brunton Outdoor Group, comprised of the Brunton and Primus brands, introduced the 2012 “Summit Team” Outdoor Partner Program, providing retailers with discounts on outdoor gear and a variety of free in-store sales support tools.

Launching this summer for the 2012 sales season, the “Summit Team” program is intended to benefit specialty outdoor retailers, a primary focus for the Brunton Outdoor Group.  Discounts and a strong in-store presence will help facilitate buy-in while driving sales.

“We developed the “Summit Team” program to benefit our specialty retailers who represent the core of our business,” said John Smithbaker, president of the Brunton Outdoor Group.  “Over the last two years, weve been refocusing our efforts on supporting our specialty retailers and this program represents our next step in that direction.”

An initial $5000 purchase of select Primus and Brunton equipment gives retailers Summit Team status, entitling them to 180-day terms, free freight and a variety of point-of-purchase support.  Reorders of $1000 or more will receive 30-day dating and free freight.

In addition to special dating and free freight incentives, Summit Team partners will receive and additional 5 Percent incentive off Partner Pricing for the duration of the program term.

Participating shops will also receive an additional POP package including Brunton-branded hats, shirts, and stainless steel mugs.  Additional POP items include a free Primus display, Brunton solar display, and a Brunton compass display.  Additional items including signage, stickers, and posters make this POP package worth $1800.

Employees will benefit from a one-time, 60 percent off retail offer on Brunton and Primus products.

Additional benefits include enrollment in the Brunton Outdoor Group Service Support Program, retail product training, customer referral, 1st chance at closeout merchandise, and local advertising support.
