Brunswick Corporation has named Kristin M. Coleman its vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Coleman will assume her duties May 20, and will report to Dustan E. McCoy, Brunswick's chairman and CEO.

Coleman, who most recently was vice president and associate general counsel for Mead Johnson Nutrition Company, previously, had been with Brunswick from 2003 – 2008. During that time, Coleman served in a number of positions of increasing responsibility, including deputy general counsel for Brunswick Corporation, as well as vice president and general counsel for Brunswick Bowling & Billiards. Prior to joining Brunswick, Coleman was an attorney with Sidley Austin Brown & Wood in Chicago. Coleman will replace Lloyd C. Chatfield, who recently resigned to join the law firm of Kelley Drye & Warren LLP.

“We are pleased to welcome Kristin back to Brunswick,” McCoy said. “Her expertise and familiarity with the company, our businesses and our legal team will ensure that the pace and intensity of our efforts will proceed forward unimpeded. At the same time, we wish to thank Lloyd for his service at Brunswick, and wish him the best of luck in his new endeavor.”
