Brooks-Range Mountaineering Equipment will be introducing the Mojave Jacket during the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market trade show in Salt Lake City. The jacket is the first 800-fill down jacket made with the new DownTec water-resistant technology.
Brooks-Range will be located at booth #9050 at the show, which takes place Jan. 19-22.
The high-performance 800-fill jacket features down treated with a micro-thin nano polymer, resulting in a water-repellent, anti-microbial, anti-bacterial insulation that actually floats on water. The treated feathers feel like regular down and repel water while maintaining its loft and insulation value, even in the wettest of conditions. It also maintains it ability to breathe, which is a key factor for comfort.
The Mojave Jacket and DownTec Technology which will be available to consumers in fall 2012 and will retail for $299.
