Broder Bros., Co., continued its distribution center expansion program
by opening a new 415,000 square foot facility in Lewisberry, PA., less
than 10 miles from Harrisburg.

The parent company of Alpha Shirt Company, Broder and NES opened the DC
in August and is now fully operational. 250 new jobs have been created
and applications are continually being accepted.

“Broder is unique in several ways,” said Amanda String, HR Generalist,
in a statement. “Not only do we offer a competitive wage and benefits
and generous employee discounts on all clothing we carry in the
warehouse, we also go the extra mile to make sure our staff knows how
much we value their work. We regularly hold such team-building
activities as employee cookouts, potlucks, the Halloween costume
contest and upcoming Thanksgiving Feast. We’re excited to be a part of
the Harrisburg community and want our employees to feel like family.”

The Harrisburg distribution center is one of only two Broder facilities handling merchandise from all three divisions.
