Boxercraft, a manufacturer of spiritwear, has purchased the assets of Jones & Mitchell Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Augusta Sportswear Holdings Inc.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Jessica Levine, a Boxercraft spokeswoman, said there are no plans to relocate Overland Park, KS-based Jones & Mitchell. Boxercraft in located in Atlanta. “The asset purchase by Boxercraft will enable all operations to continue without interruption or disruption to the benefit of the customers served by Jones & Mitchell,” Boxercraft said in a statement.
The management team at Jones & Mitchell, including company President Donna Hansen, will remain on board. No layoffs or staff additions are currently planned, Levine confirmed.
