The Boulder Outdoor Specialty Group (BOSG), continued to add staff with the addition of eCommerce Manager Brian Bettcher.
Charged with managing the online presence of all six BOSG brands, Bettcher will take an active roll in keeping website content and merchandising fresh, enhancing the experience for visitors to sites operated for the group’s brands, which include Kelty, Kelty KIDS, Sierra Designs, Slumberjack, Wenger, and Ultimate Direction.
Brians extensive experience as an internet marketing manager working in the outdoor industry will certainly be an asset to our team, said Sue Edmiston, BOSG marketing manager. With the recently redesigned Kelty.com and SierraDesigns.com up and running, well be putting Brians talents to work right away.
Under Bettchers management, all BOSG websites will feature content, technology, and special features to more fully connect outdoor enthusiasts with the BOSG brands. Continuously updated, these sites will also help drive visitors to BOSGs store front and online retailers, adding value to these retail partnerships.
Bettcher is the most recent addition to the growing BOSG team. Since September 2009, BOSG has hired several new people including product designers, a graphic designer, and a sales director. This growing team will allow all BOSG brands to create quality outdoor gear while effectively reaching a broad and interested audience.
Before his current position with BOSG, Bettcher was the Internet marketing program manager with REI in Kent, WA where he was employed for over 10 years.
An avid climber, skier, and mountain biker, Bettcher will be a natural fit with the rest of the BOSG team.
