The Boulder Outdoor Specialty Group (BOSG), the parent of Kelty, Kelty KIDS, Sierra Designs, Slumberjack, Ultimate Direction and Wenger, promoted Morgan Newlon to Customer Service Supervisor and added three new Customer Service Representatives.

Under Newlon’s leadership, each member of the Customer Service Department will work directly with dealers in specific territories to build lasting relationships while setting the benchmark for outstanding customer service.

“Elevating the level of service provided to our dealers is a huge priority here at the Boulder Outdoor Specialty Group,” said Kenny Ballard, president of the BOSG. “Morgan is a knowledgeable and experienced customer service representative and I’m certain he will excel in his new position.”

Thanks to this staffing change, each territory will benefit from a customer service contact that will understand the dealer’s specific regional and long-term needs by developing a solid working relationship with specific retailers. The in-house dealer service team will focus on supporting the external sales and service team to ensure a unified sales and service program.

Through these relationships, dealers will benefit from working with a BOSG representative that has a better understanding of each specific account. The result will be an inside staff with a better understanding of specific customer needs, thereby developing a partnership between BOSG and their accounts.

BOSG is currently hiring for the three customer service positions and hopes to have staff in place by November 1, 2009.
