Bonfire Collective announced that Brian Holcombe will serve as director of accounts and strategy. “Holcombe brings more than a decade of experience at the intersection of strategy, storytelling and earned trust with some of the most recognizable names in the outdoor and active-lifestyle space,” Bonfire said in a media release. “His background spans agency leadership, brand communications and integrated marketing.”
Before joining the company, Holcombe held senior leadership roles at Rygr and Backbone Media, where he reportedly partnered with brands such as Nike, Orvis, Salomon, POC, Smartwool, and Strava across outdoor, sport, and apparel categories. Earlier in his career, he worked in specialty outdoor retail, earned media and editorial roles at VeloNews.
“Brian is the kind of leader who understands that great work starts with clarity, trust and respect for both the craft and the people behind it,” said Erik Lambert, founder and CEO, Bonfire Collective. “As Bonfire grows, we’ve been intentional about building leadership that strengthens our partnerships and our internal culture at the same time. Brian brings a rare mix of strategic rigor, industry credibility and human-centered leadership that aligns perfectly with who we are and where we’re headed.”
“I’ve spent my career working with brands that live at the intersection of performance, culture and the outdoors,” said Holcombe. “Bonfire stood out to me because of its values, its people and its commitment to doing work that actually matters. I’m excited to help our partners navigate growth with intention and to build systems that allow great ideas and great people to thrive.”
