Boardworks Surf has partnered with System X Distribution of the United Kingdom as to distribute Boardworks Inflatable SUPs and Badfish SUP products to Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Norway and Finland,  marking the first time Badfish SUP will be available in Europe.

System X is a major player in the European Paddle Sports market, and we were looking for a distributor that could reach the canoe/kayak market in Europe,” said Boardworks National Sales Manger Ryan Guay. “One of our top performing brands is Badfish. It is the only River
specific SUP brand, and it needs to be sold through specialty retailers
that understand whitewater. SystemX distributes some of the top brands
in whitewater, and we are lucky to have our logo on their brands
page.

Badfish SUP has consistent interest from Europe about its products since the day it launched its website, said Mike Harvey, co-owner of Badfish SUP.

We have some new models for 2015 that will continue to push the level
of River SUP,” Harvey continued. “Europe has a long tradition of river
sports and whitewater paddling and Badfish boards are a natural fit for
the European market. We have been shipping individual boards to European
customers over the past few years, but we are really excited to be
working with SystemX to get Badfish to the European market in more cost
efficient manner.

System X will be focusing on inflatable SUPs for 2015 and will be showing the product lineup at Paddle Expo in Nuremberg Germany, the 28th-30th of September. They will be stocked with inventory by January 2015.
