Blue Compass RV, which operates over 100 RV dealerships in 33 states nationwide, announced a series of key leadership appointments and internal promotions, including a new SVP of Sales Operations, a VP of Used RV Sales, and a president of the Motor Home Specialist.
“I’m excited to announce a series of appointments that reflect our commitment to building the most talented leadership team in the industry as we build on a successful 2025 marked by double-digit new and used RV sales growth,” said Jon Ferrando, CEO and president of Blue Compass RV. “Brian Feldman and Chris Johnson are new executives who bring tremendous retail experience that, combined with the proven leadership of our internal promotions announced today, strengthens every aspect of our business to drive superior execution and growth in 2026.”
Brian Feldman, as senior vice president, sales operations, will lead technology, marketing, inventory, and RV sales operations reporting to Ferrando. Feldman brings over 20 years of automotive retail experience across retail technology, marketing, new- and used-sales operations, e-commerce, inventory, pricing, and customer experience. Most recently, Feldman served as chief operating officer of AutoCanada, a $6 billion auto retailer with 64 dealerships in the U.S. and Canada. Prior to that, he spent over a decade with AutoNation, the largest auto retailer in the U.S., where he held numerous senior sales and leadership roles.
Chris Johnson, as vice president of used RV sales, will lead the company’s used RV sales strategy and execution, focusing on inventory, sales performance, pricing discipline, process, and results, reporting to Feldman. Johnson has 12 years of experience in the RV industry, including leading inventory management at a major national RV dealer group. Blue Compass RV said, “His data-driven focus and leadership will play a critical role in unlocking additional growth and profitability in the used business while also contributing to new and used inventory merchandising, pricing and transport logistics.”
Elisha Bendele, named president of Motor Home Specialist (MHS), took over the department’s leadership from Donny O’Banion last year and has since implemented key operational improvements to drive growth. He also led the expansion of the MHS footprint by opening Motor Home Specialist of Alabama. Bendele has served Blue Compass RV in marketing and sales, as well as in key leadership roles as GM and market leader across multiple dealerships.
Nolan O’Bannon, named GM of Motor Home Specialist, brings a strong track record in motor home sales, most recently serving as MHS’s general sales manager since September 2024. O’Bannon will continue to report to Bendele and work with the MHS team to grow the business.
Dominic Caputo has been promoted to vice president, inventory management, reporting to Feldman. Previously serving as director of inventory management, Caputo has helped strengthen the company’s new RV inventory processes and deepen OEM relationships to secure its product lineup. In his new role, he will continue to lead the new RV inventory management team, optimizing stock levels and product mix.
Peter Beckingham was promoted to senior regional F&I director. With nearly six years of experience at Blue Compass RV, he has supported the performance and success of the company’s RV Complete products and finance options for customers. In this expanded role, he will support F&I performance across the North and Southeast regions, while partnering with Vice President of F&I Kurt Hornung on company-wide key initiatives.
