Blackout BMX Distribution, the parent of Kink Bikes and Cinema and Mission parts brands, has hired industry veteran Scott Towne as sales manager.

Towne has “decades” of experience working with BMX and action sports brands, including retail, media, sales, and marketing roles.

“I’m a BMX rider, enthusiast and super fan to the core. The BMX industry, as fickle as it may be, is my comfort zone, and the Blackout brands are leaders in the category.” Towne said.

Blackout BMX Distribution Founder and CEO Zack Phillips added, “I am very excited to be working with Scott. He brings expansive knowledge and passion to the Blackout team.”

Towne summarized his new position: “This is the role I’ve been working toward my whole life (intentionally or not), and I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with these respected brands in the field I know best.”

Blackout BMX Distribution also serves as a distributor of Fiend and ProTec.
