Billabong's Boulder, Colo. retail store, which is operated by Intrawest Retail Group, has signed on to sponsor the Colorado University Snowboard Team for the 2006/07 winter season.
“Billabongs Boulder retail store is a great tie in for the team from a sponsorship perspective,” says Bob Holme, Sponsorship Manager for CUST. “Billabong reflects the culture and lifestyle of the riders and more importantly, Billabong is right here doing business in our back yard and supporting our athletes on a local level.”
The CUST sponsorship agreement provides Billabong apparel to team members as well as support for team riders in amateur and professional competitions, helps to host team events, and contributes to the creation of new
and bigger competitions. Additionally, Billabong Boulder is a CUST Collegiate Challenge Sponsor.
