Big Peach Running Co. will open a new store in Monroe, GA, this July, in a space formerly occupied by Active Soles.

The Big Peach team “will work with Active Soles partner Matthew Chancey and his team over the next few weeks to ensure a smooth transition for the local partnerships being created.”

“Monroe, GA, and Walton County are growing smart and fast for many reasons,” said Founder Mike Cosentino. “Not the least of which is its enthusiasm for investment in outdoor, fitness and family activities.  To continue the terrific work commenced by Active Soles in this community will be a great privilege for us and done in complete harmony with the future of this special place.”

Located at 141 S. Broad Street, the new store will offer the same fitting services, inventory selection and special events as other Big Peach stores.

At a recent Monroe Run Club event attended by both Big Peach and Active Soles, former store owner, Matthew Chancey, indicated, “Monroe is already home to an active and expanding community of runners, walkers and outdoor enthusiasts, making it a terrific fit for Big Peach’s commitment to hospitality and guest services. I’m excited about the next chapter for this store and seeing its continued growth.

The Monroe Big Peach location will carry the same brands as other locations, including On, Nike, Hoka, Brooks, Asics, Saucony, Puma, and Altra.

Founded in 2004, Big Peach is a locally owned specialty retail chain offering footwear, apparel, and accessories for an active lifestyle. Monroe will be Big Peach’s 15th store, along with its online business, Big Peach On-Wheels concept, and Big Peach Premium, an enterprise specializing in screen printing, embroidery, and promotional goods.
