Big Agnes Inc., the maker of sleeping bags, pads and tents, hired Sasso Vertical Sales Inc to handle Big Agnes sales in Western Canada. Additionally, outdoor industry veteran Rose Alford was recently hired for in-house dealer services.
Sasso Vertical Sales Inc, which is comprised of owner Dale Robotham and Jeff Perron, is based out of Canmore, Alberta. Dale will be managing the British Columbia province, while Jeff will be handling Alberta. Saskatchewan will be managed between them both. “We are excited to welcome both Dale and Jeff to the Big Agnes team. They bring over 15 years experience as independent reps, and a specialty retail background providing an invaluable first-hand perspective and understanding to support our specialty dealers,” says Garth Evans, Big Agnes' Sales Manager.
“Our knowledge of the Big Agnes brand and experience within the outdoor market will make this a smooth and exciting transition for us as we ramp up for Outdoor Retailer,” says partner Jeff Perron. Sasso Vertical Sales Inc also represents Prana, Gregory, Garmont North America, Five Ten, Grangers, Ortovox, Maxim Climbing Ropes, Life Link and Scapegoat Clothing.
At home in Steamboat Springs, Big Agnes added Alford to its Dealer Services team, in order to accommodate growth in sales and customer service operations. Alford brings over eight years management experience from Boulder, Colorado-based, La Sportiva North America and will be managing Big Agnes Rocky Mountain accounts.
