Bergans USA continues to expand in the North American market with the hiring of rep group Endless Adventure Sales (EAS) and Beaty Jackson to represent the Norwegian brand in the Southwest and Southeast regions respectively.
 
“The Southwest and Southeast are important regions for us as we grow the Bergans brand,” said Keith Patterson, vice-president of sales and marketing for Bergans, which makes packs, outdoor clothng, tents and owns the Ally brand of packable canoes. “Bringing both Dan Hill and his team from Endless Adventure Sales, and Beaty Jackson on board will help us continue our momentum in these territories, and allow us to better serve retailers with the highest level of customer service and support.”
 
Established in 1985, EAS is based in Truckee, CA and is headed by Dan Hill with the support of Kara LaPoint and August Teague. EAS serves a broad range of specialty outdoor retailers, especially in the alpine, cross-country, backcountry and telemark skiing; and running and backpacking markets. EAS has represented a number of lines, including Lowe Alpine and JanSport, and is currently representing CW-X, Fisher, Lowa, Purnell, Swix, and now Bergans.
 
Jackson is based in Damascus, VA, a town on the Appalachian Trail known for its annual Trails Day festival. He has worked in the outdoor industry since 1974 in various retail and in-house marketing and sales positions. In the past, Jackson has represented Deuter, Easton Outdoor, Leki, and Moonstone, and is currently representing AceCamp, Fits, Good to Go, and McNett.
