Amer Sports Winter and Outdoor Americas (ASWO) has set up a special benefit fund to assist the family of former Salomon USA Sales Director Bill Nicoll, who recently passed away. ASWO is reaching out to the outdoor sports industry to contribute to the fund. It will be used to help with the Nicolls’ youngest son’s college tuition and the family’s unexpected expenses.

Anyone wishing to donate to the fund can do so at the Bank of Utah, following either of these instructions:

In addition, a remembrance will be held on March 23rd at Snowbasin Resort.

“The idea is to gather as a group and share thoughts and stories about Bill in a relaxed atmosphere with friends and family. If conditions allow, we will be skiing in the morning and will plan on having enough demos for people if they require skis,” said Mike Adams, Winter Sports Equipment Vice President and Commercial Director for ASWO.

“Everyone in the ski business today knows Bill has made a significant contribution throughout his career,” said Mike Dowse, ASWO President and General Manager. “We want to honor him as a coworker and friend as well as help support his wife Deb and their boys as best we can in his passing.”
