Bearpaw is moving into apparel with the launch of a new outerwear line. The brand debuts this month, showcasing a range of jackets in multiple styles and fabrics for both men and women.

“We have grown our footwear into what we think is mainstream and middle America,” Bearpaw President John Pierce explained. “We felt that at this time, where our footwear is going, we should do an outerwear line and it is perfect for the consumer going into the fall and winter season.”

The Fall 2016 line includes seven looks for women including the Fargo, Fairbanks, Aurora and Seattle. The Fargo is a lighter style jacket, while The Aurora is a straight-cut jacket with a Sherpa-lined hood and two zipped pockets. The Fairbanks is the most technical jacket, and The Seattle is a lightweight polar fleece jacket.

The men’s collection features the Bozeman, Washington and Durham styles. The Bozeman is a lightweight, packable down jacket that comes with a travel bag. The Washington is a knitted sweater fleece jacket. The Durham is a medium-weight jacket, with zippered pockets and removable hood.

Bearpaw footwear is available throughout the U.S. and in over 45 countries throughout the world. The new outerwear collection will range from simple fleece styles to down jacket styles and will be available at bearpaw.com, Bob’s Stores, shoebuy.com and other independent retailers.

“Most of our new Bearpaw apparel collection will be sold at mom-and-pop shops around the country,” Pierce explained. “Although Bearpaw.com will be our main driving force, the apparel will also be available at independent accounts, both in store and online, this coming Fall.”

The outerwear collection from Bearpaw will be available for purchase in October 2016.
