Bauer Hockey has partnered with the Movember Foundation, a global charity that works to raise funds and awareness so men live healthier, happier and longer lives.  During the month of November millions of people participate in the Movember campaign by growing moustaches to help raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.

“Movember is a fun way to show your support for men’s health, and it’s become a tradition in the hockey community,” said Rich Wuerthele, executive vice president, Bauer Hockey.  “We’re proud to partner with the Movember Foundation and our retailers to raise money that helps fund important research focusing on prostate cancer, mental health and much more.”

Based on its brand campaign OWN THE MOMENT, Bauer Hockey created “Own the Mo” t-shirts that will be sold online and in-store at Total Hockey in the U.S. and at Pro Hockey Life in Canada.  Bauer Hockey and the two retail partners will donate a combined $10 to the Movember Foundation for every “Own the Mo” t-shirt sold.  “Own the Mo” t-shirts will also be available at Bauer Hockey’s store in Burlington, Mass.

“Over the years we’ve seen some epic moustaches both on and off the ice,” said Jesse Hayman, Director of Community Engagement, Movember Canada. “The hockey community has always been such an incredible supporter, and we’re excited to have Bauer Hockey help us power the moustache even more this Movember.”
