Balega International announced its support of the Breast Cancer Fund with the release of a limited edition Breast Cancer Awareness sock. A dollar per each sale of the candy pink socks will go to the organization, which works to eliminate cancer risks through public policy and educating consumers of the link between chemical exposure and breast cancer.

Tanya Pictor, Balega’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, stated “Balega has a long history of giving back, and we’re excited to add the Breast Cancer Fund (BCF) as one of our charitable partners. Their work is incredibly important, and we’re proud to contribute to the fight against a disease which affects so many lives.”

The BCF works to educate the public on chemicals and radiation in order to reduce breast cancer risks. The organization seeks solutions for today in order to achieve changes that will prevent breast cancer and protect overall health.

Featuring inspirational messages such as “Don’t tell me I can’t” and “Mind over miles” stitched into the toe of the socks, the Breast Cancer Awareness sock will be available in stores September 1st at a MSRP of $12.50.
