Azimuth Technology, a manufacturer of tight-tolerance firearms components based in Naples, Florida, has promoted Mauricio Giraldo to vice president of operations. He had served as director of operations.

In his new role, the 13-year company veteran will continue to lead the execution of Azimuth’s manufacturing strategy while overseeing operations across the company’s precision manufacturing platform, focused on production, process optimization and cross-functional coordination.

“Mauricio has been a driving force behind the operational strength and manufacturing discipline that defines Azimuth today. His leadership, technical expertise and unwavering commitment to continuous improvement have played a critical role in positioning the company for sustained growth. We are excited to see him step into this expanded leadership role and continue driving operational excellence across the organization,” said company CEO Tommy Thacker.

Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Giraldo holds a degree in Industrial Design and has built his career in advanced precision manufacturing environments. Prior to joining Azimuth Technology, he held key operational roles at Inovo, Inc. and Structure Medical.
