AVIA has entered a partnership deal with Troy Lee Designs (TLD), the southern California-based company that produces custom graphic designs for the “worlds fastest racers.”
In the latest collaboration between AVIA and TLD, the design company will co-create a collection of AVIA racing shoes with a limited release per style. The first AVIA/TLD shoes will hit retailers in June 09 with a retail price starting at $125.00. Additionally, the footwear partnership will extend to the race team and sponsored athletes of TLD.
Beginning in January, all teamTBB athletes
will train and race in AVIA footwear.
TeamTBBs world-renowned coach, Brett Sutton, will also work directly
with AVIAs footwear engineering team on innovative new product designs.
TeamTBB is a professional organization for
triathlon and bike-related sports led by founder Alex Bok and coach
Sutton. Through training camps,
knowledge workshops and coaching, teamTBB works to develop world champion
athletes.
As part of the partnership, AVIA footwear
will be sold in all Bike Boutique locations world-wide.
