Avex, a leading reusable water bottle brand for outdoor adventurers, expands its team with the hire of Colleen Nipkow to Marketing and Communications Manager and Allaina Jeffreys to Creative Manager.

As Marketing Communications Manager, Nipkow will lead the company’s brand marketing direction for North America and international business, while Jeffrey will manage and design the Avex brand identity as Creative Manager.
 
Prior to this new role, Nipkow was the marketing director at Gregory Mountain Products, where she helped develop and implement brand marketing direction and tools with senior management. Her depth of experience in the outdoor industry extends to previously held positions as the marketing manager at Scarpa North America and as senior marketing manager at Black Diamond Equipment.
 
Nipkow will utilize her extensive experience in the outdoor industry to develop and execute a marketing and social media strategy.

“Avex is a young, fresh brand with great potential and premier, quality products,” said Nipkow. “I am excited to use my outdoor industry marketing background in helping to grow Avex, while working with such an innovative team.”

Jeffreys also joins the team from Gregory Mountain Products, where she worked as Art Director to develop brand standards for implementing a new global identity. Previously, she worked as art director at Twio Brand, managing overall brand identity and print and digital marketing, and as graphic designer at Ziji International, where she helped create visual assets for email, social media, video and web.
